Contract/Staff Position



Your Future Team:




The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority, the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. Supporting nuclear facilities & the delivery of services across both Client Sites near Helensburgh.

Your Missions



Manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents. Handle design changes/concessions. Present Design substantiations to safety committees. Develop EIMT Schedule, procedures, and results. Produce Periodic Review of Safety reports. ? Advise internal and external stakeholders. ??? Conduct Independent Technical Review. ? Apply engineering knowledge to nuclear/high-risk environments. ? Justify civil/structural design modifications. Review reports and safety submissions. Check and review calculations and technical documents.

Qualifications



Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment + Theoretical and practical skills across concept, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects. ? Experience in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazards. Authoring technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high hazard industries. Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input. ? Experienced in regulated environments. ? Familiarity with safety case development techniques like HAZID/HAZOP studies. Worked in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defense), especially in safety-related structures, systems, and components.


Additional Information



Hybrid role with visits to client site near Helensburgh. Security Clearance: SC, UK National. BEng in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent experience.
