Candidate Requirements:
Must be Electrically bias and Mechanically minded
Knowledge of PLC and Control
Proactive to breakdowns and fault finding
Sound knowledge of three phase and single phase, AC and DC
UK Driving license
Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification
Excellent communicator with a high level of diplomacy and customer focused
Ability to organise/self-motivate yourself and others, workload in a proactive manner
Trustworthy, organised professional person with an ethical approach, striving for excellence in all aspects of work
Proven previous experience
Strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical fault finding, systems, PLC controls
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake diverse reactive and planned maintenance, including electrical fault finding and electrical maintenance and repair on all site machinery and equipment in accordance with the agreed standard requirements.
Facilitate speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipment, assisting with process/plant/factory improvements.
Accommodate site maintenance tasks to maintain high standards of work incorporating health and safety and site hygiene across all sites at all times.
Make scheduled checks on machinery and parts, find and fix faults and re calibrate instruments, overhaul and replace parts according to schedules.
Carry out visual checks to ensure the production facilities continue to work at optimum efficiency.
Checks of all equipment and proactively communication with Shift Managers, Operatives and other staff/Peers
The role is based on 45 hour per week
