We are looking to develop our engineering team to meet our generation and refurbishment challenges and as a result have opportunities for an Electrical Engineer working across both Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations to join an existing team of skilled engineers



As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation, integrity, and performance of our electrical assets across both power stations.

Summary of what you will do


Deliver plant refurbishment, maintenance, and replacement projects within assigned budgets Manage resources and contractors to meet business plan objectives and KPIs Provide expert advice and develop innovative solutions for electrical plant improvements Implement quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives Conduct residual life assessments and advise on risk management for electrical assets Investigate and solve plant-level problems to enhance performance Assist in developing maintenance and asset management strategies Contribute to budgetary planning and contract management



What you will bring to the role


Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience Detailed knowledge of electrical systems in the power industry Experience in managing contracts and holding roles such as Technical Officer IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential) Chartered status (desirable) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide expert technical guidance Excellent project management and communication abilities Commitment to safety and environmental best practices Innovative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement



Job Based In



This is a site based role. It is expected that the candidates would need to work at both Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations located in the Snowdonia (Eryri) region of Wales.
