As a
Maintenance Engineer
, you will play a vital role in providing both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of our prestigious client sites.
Whether your background is in electrical or mechanical engineering , your expertise will help maintain critical systems and contribute to the high standards we set and what our clients expect from Platinum.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for a versatile and proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and taking pride in delivering consistently high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled (PPM) and reactive maintenance in accordance with contractual requirements and service level agreements
Deliver effective engineering solutions, using your electrical or mechanical knowledge to resolve faults efficiently
Complete general building maintenance tasks, such as basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating
Undertake lighting maintenance, including lamp replacements and diffuser cleaning
Safely manage tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with company procedures
Support the wider engineering team in delivering a consistent, high-quality service
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with reporting standards
Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times
Develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike
Represent Platinum Facilities professionally, with a strong focus on customer service and reliability
Take ownership of personal development and stay up to date with industry best practices and training
What We're Looking For
Experience and/or qualifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance
Background in general facilities or building maintenance
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a proactive approach to solving issues
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Mechanical or equivalent or Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
