WALSTEAD PETERBOROUGH, one of the UK's leading web offset printers has the following vacancy for their site based in Peterborough:

Electrical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Competitive Salary + overtime opportunities

Shift Pattern: 12 hours rotating days and nights starting from Sunday Night 6pm through to Saturday 18:00. Working to a continental shift pattern of 3 x 12 hour shifts. Overtime Saturday night and Sunday Day Available.

Responsible for repairs, servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facilities tasks.

The successful candidate must have:

Training and qualification to IEE 18th/19th edition preferred. A recognised industrial Electrical qualification. Have experience working as an Industrial Shift Electrician. Experience in the printing industry would be preferable but not essential. Experience with maintenance programmes. Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determined. Training and development opportunities available
Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
