Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Electrical Engineer

to join our team.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

To design, develop and collaborate with the project team to create designs that meet client requirements and specifications. Implement design changes and develop contingency plans when necessary. Conduct virtual and on-site feasibility studies to assess the viability of design concepts, identifying potential challenges and solutions. Provide technical support on cable sizing, electrical schematics, battery sizing, daytime matching and resolve installation-related issues. Liaise with local agencies like building control and local authority for requisite approvals and DNOs for grid approvals using knowledge of Mirco grid. Develop and establish cost estimates and pricing for approved project designs in collaboration with other internal teams. Contribute to tender processes (design and pricing), ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. Guide the implementation of SolidWorks from the concept to the documentation phase. Collaborate with the sales team to present designs demonstrating electrical demands and financial benefits to clients in meetings. Lead research and development initiatives to enhance design processes and incorporate innovative technologies.

Must Haves:



2 - 5 years' experience in similar role for a Design or Engineering Consultancy is essential. Firm understanding of UK Building and Electrical Regulations. Minimum Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering.

Proficiency with Auto Cad, 2D/3D modelling software or SolidWorks. Experience in Solar PV design is preferred but training can be provided. Comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.

Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and/or EU and be fluent in English. Flexibility to travel to project sites in for onsite inspections when required.
