Electrical Engineer

Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: \xc2\xa340,000 - \xc2\xa350,000 (Depending on experience)

Shift: 37-hour week, Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 4:30, Friday 8:00 - 4:00

Manpower Engineering are proud to be representing a European leader in the manufacturing industry offering a range of different services. I am seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to their exceptional customer care in Newton Abbot.

Are you a chartered Engineer or have a degree in Electrical Engineering? Then this role is for you.

As an Electrical Engineer, you\'ll be at the forefront of designing ground-breaking equipment for gas turbine generator sets. From LV and MV systems to PLC and HMI programming, your expertise will shape the future of energy.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the focal point for electrical engineering on assigned projects
• Take ownership of project tasks and ensure their professional delivery
• Manage project and technical risks, providing mitigation plans as necessary
• Provide necessary evidence and documentation to support project requirements
• Work with technical interfaces to resolve engineering project issues
• Establish and deliver the electrical engineering plan to meet project requirements
• Provide performance data and updates on project progress
• Ensure work meets standards and is completed on time
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Deliver projects within allocated budget and schedule
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to interfacing functions
• Share knowledge and provide training to team members

• Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to plan ahead
• Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Auto-desk suite of products
• Degree in a relevant engineering subject
• Desirable: Experience with power generation equipment or rotating machinery
• Desirable: Experience with Syteline software
• Desirable: Ability in a second European language
• Minimum 5 year\'s experience
