The Job Mission




This hybrid role is open to those within commuting distance of Bridgwater, and relocation support is available. You'll join the quality function as an Electrical Engineer, helping to uphold high installation standards across a major nuclear construction programme. The focus is on maintaining compliance, providing strong oversight, and supporting safe, efficient delivery on site. Your work includes overseeing electrical installation compliance, coordinating with installation teams to maintain standards, and managing inspections, documentation, and assurance activities across the project.

Key Responsibilities

:

Ensuring supply chain compliance through structured audits and site oversight

Managing Inspection and Test Plans and Life Time Quality Records for electrical works

Leading quality surveillance at client and subcontractor locations in the UK and abroad

? Supporting non-conformance resolution with effective root cause analysis

Analysing quality data to guide decisions and highlight improvement opportunities

Preparing clear, detailed quality reports for engineering and project stakeholders

Providing support to installation teams on electrical quality requirements and standards

Assisting with assurance of electrical installation activities including earthing and bonding

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications



Electrical Engineering degree, HNC, or equivalent technical background

? Experience in regulated sectors with strong understanding of quality processes

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ideally GS R 3 or similar standards

Understanding of quality tools such as SPC, histograms and process mapping

? Experience producing and managing electrical installation documentation

Knowledge of related standards such as NFC15 100 or BS7671

C&G 2391 52 inspection and testing qualification is beneficial
