We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. We specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of commercial kitchen ventilation systems. We offer a complete product portfolio including Ventilation Canopies, UV technology, Heat Recovery, Service Distribution Units, Ventilated Ceilings, Pollution Control, Fire Suppression, demand-based ventilation and complete controls package. We can offer Maintenance and Service Contracts providing a total turnkey solution from concept to completion. We invests heavily in R&D, and have extensive testing facilities in Rochester, Kent.
Principal purpose or objective of the job
To conduct all electrical works on Halton products in the factory and maintain all electrical systems on site.
Responsibilities
Design of electrical systems.
Collaboratively working with other departments to ensure set specifications are followed.
Wiring of Service Distribution Units.
Site wiring of canopies and supply and extract systems.
Testing of Service Distribution Units, issuing relevant test certificates.
Remedial and new works required in the fabric of the factory including testing where required.
Consult with Research & Development team to ensure new products and components are ready for manufacture when released to into Production, including drawings & instructions.
Ensuring the highest quality standards are met on electrical fit out area and due planning.
First fix for fire suppression products.
Maintain NICEIC accreditation responsibilities (external auditing and sign off).

Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience working on site and within a warehouse/factory environment.
Desirable- Apprenticed served electrician.
City and Guilds Test and Inspection.
Qualified to 18TH Edition wiring regulations.
City and Guilds Test and Inspection.
IT Literate.
AutoCAD experience preferred.
Remuneration
Salary: Dependant on experience
