About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our clients established team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from installation and commissioning through to maintenance and fault-finding. You will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain electrical systems in line with project requirements and current regulations.
Lead and deliver projects independently or as part of a wider engineering team.
Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and certification.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment.
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations and BS7671 (18th Edition).
About You
We're seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Essential requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a commercial, industrial, or construction setting.
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
Experience in project management or supervisory roles.
Knowledge of control systems, automation, or renewable technologies.
