Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer - Full-Time, Permanent

Location:

Sutton, Surrey (Covering London, Greater London & South of England)

Salary:

35,000 - 45,000 (Negotiable based on experience & qualifications)

An established Technical M&E service provider is seeking an experienced Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join its team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial building maintenance projects, carrying out installation, fault-finding, and servicing of electrical and mechanical systems.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services across client sites, including testing, installation, fault diagnosis, and planned maintenance. This position requires a flexible and technically skilled engineer who can work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Emergency lighting testing and inspection. Power circuit installation and testing. Controls and BMS-related works. Electrical fault-finding and rectification. Planned and reactive maintenance inspections. Service and installation works across a range of systems.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification. At least five years of experience in a similar commercial role. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. Broad knowledge of building services, including mechanical systems. Self-sufficient, reliable, and able to work independently or within a small team. Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken). Flexible approach to work and a willingness to develop further technical skills.

Desirable:

Experience with controls and BMS systems. Familiarity with Home Office Security Vetting (SC) requirements.
