About the Role

The role of the Renewables Electrician / Electrical Installer will be responsible for undertaking installations of Solar PV, Mechanical ventilation and Electric Storage heaters. Together with our team assisting in all paperwork. With this, we are looking to bring on-board an experienced and qualified Electrician that is confident in offering great customer service to our clients. This is an exciting time to be part of the growth and development within the company, giving you the opportunity to expand your career and advance your technical development.

Your skills and qualifications also will also initially be required to survey, design and install your own jobs. Reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for delivering installation projects on time and to budget. A keen eye for detail and ability to handle multiple projects and customers is required.

A positive, proactive, professional and process driven attitude are key to you succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (domestic and small-scale commercial) Carry out electrical work safely and in line with current regulations Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repair tasks as needed Wiring of air source heat pump systems Liaise with office staff, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery Complete required documentation, including photos and installation records Be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks as required by the company

Skills & Experience

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Small-Scale Solar PV qualification -- essential Experience with domestic and small commercial solar installations Full UK driving licence (essential) Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Professional communication and teamwork skills Positive and flexible attitude
