Job Description

Responsibilities:

To work as part of a team in order to correctly wire electrical assemblies on TBS machines according to the engineering specifications.

:

Read and understand electrical drawings.

Secure and fix cables, looms, switches and other electric devices to machine assemblies.

Fabricate and fix cable trays, trunking and conduits.

Assemble electrical wiring looms to drawings.

Use electrical measuring equipment where necessary.

Drilling and tapping of components when necessary.

Use pillar drills, and hand tools where necessary.

Complete soldered connections to electrical drawings.

Complete electrical panel terminations to electrical drawings.

Assemble electrical termination boxes, plugs and other electrical components to drawings.

Adherence to all HSE standards in accordance with Company procedures & processes. Reporting or resolving all HSE issues & concerns within area.

Develop effective relationships with all internal & external stakeholders, customers & suppliers to ensure best outcome for TBS.

Ensure that all Company polices & procedures are adhered to within area including. Berkshire Hathaway's ethical polices.

To adhere to and always apply all workplace management and rules consistently.

Embrace the values of TBS Engineering & Marmon Holdings and live these by example, consistent with corporate policies/procedures and legal obligations, both in the UK and overseas.

Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to within operations area including Berkshire Hathaway's ethical policies.

You may also be required to undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time and which are reasonably within your capabilities.

Person Specification

Previous electrical experience in panel wiring and wiring industrial machines. Qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Skilled problem solver who looks for best solution to ensure highest quality products.

Self-motivated with desire to improve working practices.

Proven team player with good communication skills.
