About the role

We are looking for a reliable self-employed electrician or electrical improver to carry out ongoing electrical works across domestic and light commercial projects. We provide a steady flow of work; you provide your labour, transport, and tools.

This role suits someone who is happy working on a subcontract basis and wants consistent work without the hassle of finding their own jobs.

Essential requirements (non-negotiable)

Self-employed status

Own transport (van preferred)

Own tools

Full UK driving licence Able to work independently and professionally on-site Experience in domestic and light commercial installations minimum 2 years

Desirable (not essential)

ECS / CSCS card

Responsibilities

Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding Installing sockets, switches, lighting, and circuits Running and concealing cables using conduit, trunking, and containment Installing junction boxes and accessories Testing completed works for safety and compliance Basic drilling, chasing, and making good where required Working in line with current wiring regulations and site safety rules
