Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver to join our team. This role involves assisting with electrical installation and maintenance tasks, supporting senior electricians, and ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will have some electrical experience and be eager to develop their skills within a professional environment. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the electrical trade, contributing to various projects across commercial and industrial sites.

Duties

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under supervision. Run Cables, 1st 2nd Fix Tasks. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wire strippers to support electrical tasks Operate power tools safely for drilling, cutting, and fixing components Follow technical drawings and instructions provided by senior electricians Support with cable management, conduit installation, and wiring tasks Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency Report any issues or hazards encountered during work to the supervisor promptly

Must Have:

On site Industrial Experience. Level 2 Diploma in electrical installation or equivalent. Level 2 NVQ-ECS Card Basic understanding of electrical systems and components Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge in the electrical field Strong commitment to health and safety procedures at all times

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
