KG Electrical Contractors are expanding

, and we're looking for a motivated

Electrical Improver

to join our growing team.

high-end residential, commercial, and specialist outdoor lighting installations

-- from luxury garden lighting and bespoke new builds to ongoing maintenance at hotels, schools, and high-spec refurbishments.

About the Role

Work as part of a two-person team (Electrician and Improver), supported by a Supervisor, Operations Manager, and the Company Owner. Assist with

garden lighting installations

and wider

domestic and commercial electrical work

, including upgrades, rewires, and maintenance. All job information, certification, and scheduling are handled through our bespoke CRM system -- so no messy paperwork. Materials are pre-ordered and ready for collection from the office each morning -- no wasted time chasing supplies.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone reliable, motivated, and eager to learn. You should take pride in your work, communicate well, and want to build a long-term career in the trade.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience on domestic sites (commercial experience a bonus) Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification completed 18th Edition Qualified (preferred) Valid ECS card Own hand and power tools Full, clean UK driving licence Good communication and attention to detail

Training and Development

You'll have the chance to grow through our

-- an internal training and development session held every six weeks, focusing on new products, installation techniques, and practical problem-solving.

external accredited CPD and training

to help you develop your skills and progress toward becoming a fully qualified electrician.
