Electrical Installation and Maintenance Engineer

Reports to:

Managing Director

Quantum Group Services Limited, based in Wallington, Surrey, is a small but long term established company providing contract servicing, refurbishment and reactive maintenance of electrical, fire safety systems, automated gates, CCTV and access control mainly within the communal areas of private residential developments within London and the home counties.

We offer customers a one-stop-shop service. Our professional approach enables us to build trust with our clients and retain them over the long term, because of this we are going through an exciting phase of expansion.

This has opened up the opportunity for a electrical installation and maintenance engineer to be part of a professional team with a commitment to high quality work in a full or part time role.

The role will consist of genral mainatance of communal electrcial services including carrying out of EICR's and replacement of installation when required.

You will also be required to carry out testing of emeregncy lighting and basic fire alarm systems.

Job Details

Salary:

35,000 -48,000 (depending on role taken, qualifications and experience)

Job Type:

Permanent, full time role or part time

24 or 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday (depending on role taken)

Opportunities for overtime

Working out of our offices in Wallington, Surrey.

Responsibilities:

You will have experience in:

Carry out full servicing and maintenance of relevant systems Carry out fault finding and remedial works Identify required parts to enable quotations to be produced Work alongside other engineers in small multi-skilled teams on larger jobs Liaise closely with office staff who schedule works and order material Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently to a high standard Work independently at client sites across London and the Home Counties Work within the company's health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

Have a minimum of 5 consecutive years' experience installing, maintaining and testing.

NVQ Level 3

in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

2394/2395

in Inspection & Testing

Proven EICR and electrical testing experience

Be able to use your experience to problem-solve while onsite

Able to work independently without supervision and in a small team

Able to work quickly, safely and efficiently

Have a professional manner and take care in your appearance.

Be fluent in Verbal and written English

Ideally be based within easy travel of our offices in Wallington.

Have a full UK Driving Licence (no more than 3 points)
