- Electrical Installation Engineer
We are looking for an electrical installation engineer that will directly report to the Production Manager and Team Leader. You will join an innovative company that leads the industry where you can develop your professional career.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out the manufacturing according to the scope of supply received from the technical area, through the Production Manager.
Installation work of substation LV distribution and substation control.
Electrical installation
Mechanical installation
Carry out the assembly of VT Chambers and VT fuse box assembly.
Carry out the assembly of the Protection and control panels.
Internal layout of control cabinets, (relays, meters, connectors, etc.).
Internal electrical wiring.
Assembling the P&C panel onto the switchgear.
PDI Inspection and Function testing of the switchgear
Functional testing of CTs and VTs
General assistance with the day-to-day operation of the production area.
Skills:
General IT skills e.g., excel, word, outlook
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team
Desirable:
Experience in the electrical industry
Ability to read and interpret wire/electrical drawings
Education/Qualifications:
NVQ / City & Guilds level 2 / 3 qualification in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation) or similar.
The following would be advantageous:
18th edition Electrical installation
Experience in working with Medium Voltage Switchgear, Auxiliary Transformers, Voltage transformers and current transformers, wiring of Control panels and LV installations.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
Friday: 8am-1pm
