Stark Electrical Solutions Ltd requires an experienced Electrical / Instrumentation Project Supervisor to complement the existing management team in delivering projects from initiation to completion.

The Role:

The position is primarily site based including some out of town working, along with some time at our premises in Immingham and you will ideally have a background in the Petro-chemical Electrical Contracting sector. You will require experience of project supervision and management roles. MS Word, Pdf, Excel and Outlook skills are essential.

You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and ensure that all aspects of quality, health, and safety compliance are met at all times. Reporting directly to the Business Director / Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring their successful delivery.

Candidates must be experienced and Compex qualified, with electrical qualifications to Technician level, including testing and inspection in accordance with BS 7671 certification requirements. You should be highly proficient in project delivery, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Tasks to include:

Prepare Risk Assessments and Method statements at the start of projects

Plan / Manage the day to day running of projects including taking out permits, explaining tasks to operatives and supervision of operatives

Be able to co-ordinate Compex inspections, prepare Excel spreadsheets.

Carry out tool box talks to operatives and sub-contractors

Be able to prepare handover documentation for end of project completion.

Liaison with our company clients and relay information as required back to head office

Procure materials from our approved suppliers as required

Entering details into our NAPIT system for BS7671 compliance

Carry out site safety audits from time to time as required

Provide administration staff with timely information regarding the financial aspect of each project assigned to you.

Ability to work on the tools when on small projects and equally able to supervise / plan works on larger projects with more personnel

Ability to co-ordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers

Ideal Requirements:

5 years experience at Supervisory level

Electrical Technician Level or equivalent

BS7671 18th Edition

COMPEX Ex 01-04

C&G testing and Inspection Certified

Experience in Petro-Chemical control systems and instrumentation

Experience in using NAPIT BS7671 systems

CCNSG safety passport holder

CCNSG leading a team safely (LATS) qualified or higher qualification

Physically and medically fit to work on sites including working at heights

Be familiar with the CDM regulations

No criminal record

Full UK driving licence

Experienced in overseeing projects of 500k+

Eligible for working throughout the UK

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 55,000.00-70,000.00 per year
