Provide day-to-day maintenance and support for automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems at Pelta Medical Papers Limited.
Assist the Engineering team with upgrades, improvements, and installation of new equipment and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair of automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
Support the transition from older electro-pneumatic controls to modern automated systems (QCS).
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics to minimise plant downtime.
Assist with small automation/control projects and support engineers on larger projects.
Produce and update schematic drawings using AutoCAD.
Work with suppliers to support QCS systems.
Liaise with external contractors on maintenance and project activities.
Keep up-to-date with new tools, equipment, and technology relevant to instrumentation and control.
Skills & Competencies
Practical problem-solving and strong fault-finding ability.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organised and proactive, with attention to detail in maintenance and record-keeping.
Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
Qualifications
Recognised Electrical or Instrumentation qualification (minimum NVQ/HNC or equivalent). Degree desirable but not essential.
Technical Experience
Knowledge of QCS systems.
Understanding of control loops and PLCs.
Experience with DC drives.
Competence with AutoCAD schematic drawings.
Hands-on industrial fault-finding experience.
Exposure to project/installation work in a manufacturing environment.
