We seeking an electrically biased engineer to join the maintenance team. This role is varied, hands on and is not 100% electrically focussed. A can do attitude is essential.
Responsibilities
Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenances and respond to equipment faults for all electrical installations, plant, machinery and equipment.
Diagnose breakdown problems, including electrical, electronic and mechanical issues.
Fit new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
Flexibility- weekend maintenance works- ad hoc
Assist with any general maintenance and upkeep of the bakery carrying out general site maintenance, including woodwork, painting, building fabric maintenance, make do and mend projects
Qualifications and skills:
Time served electrical qualifications.
General level of education GCSE/ O level or equivalent
Experience of working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
Computer literate, Microsoft word, excel etc
Good Mechanical attitude
Flexibility to work double days shift pattern Monday to Friday
Preferred:
17th / 18th wiring regulations edition.
Ability and knowledge to help maintain the upkeep of the site
Have worked in a bakery manufacturing environment servicing and maintaining the process and packing machines. i.e., Mixers, Rotary moulders, conveyors, Flow wrap and Carton erectors
Understand the requirements of external and internal audits and to comply with current legalisation
