Angus Dundee Distillers currently has an exciting opportunity for a time served Electrical Engineer to join us on a full time, permanent basis within our Tomintoul Distillery. This is a fantastic, day shift position which offers great work-life balance.

We are a long established and fast-growing Scotch Whisky Company which owns two beautiful Distilleries- Tomintoul and Glencadam and a Bottling plant in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.

Reporting directly to the Distillery Production Manager, the principal responsibilities of the role are to support all aspects of site Production and Warehousing Operations and Development at Tomintoul and Glencadam Distilleries.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain plant & machinery to the highest standards ensuring all relevant legislative requirements are fully adhered with and met. Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety requirements proactively ensuring a safe working environment is maintained for everyone at all times. Ensure accurate recording of activities on company MMS and completion of all relevant engineering documentation. Ensure Product Quality & Integrity at all times. Maintain hygiene of the working environment / machinery. Carry out tasks to the best of your ability. Undergo training where required.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering. Due to the nature of this position, we will be considering only time served Engineers for this position. A great attention to detail and excellent fault-finding skills. Good diagnostic skills with the ability to carry out route cause analysis to help drive continuous improvement solutions across the site. A key focus on delivering all works to a high standard whilst conforming to all required and relevant legislation. Experience of working within a similar environment (working within the spirits industry would be a distinct advantage). The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with the company requirements. The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively.
