Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing frontline repairs and conducting both predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimise plant downtime, enhance machine reliability, and optimise operational efficiency.
  • Adhering to a structured maintenance schedule to uphold quality standards, including allocation of internal and external labour resources.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing personnel on matters such as plant release, downtime estimation, plant handovers, and exploring alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Demonstrating expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements within a maintenance/manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in applying safe work systems like Lock-Tag-Verify.
  • Thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure production environment.
Qualifications required for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Proficient understanding of PLC systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in operating mobile equipment such as E.O.T.C and F.L.T.
The successful candidate will be capable of working a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off), with the option for fixed day shifts or a combination of day and night shifts, according to their preference.
