Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Contract).

MANCHESTER

We are a fourth-generation food manufacturer, our reputation for high quality is matched in our bakery production facility in Eccles Manchester. The business operates two shift all year round.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the engineering manager this is a contract position as a Electrical engineer to the support the delivery of multiple production lines we have. There is a wide spectrum of specialties and requirement for the business and looking for someone who can give us a continual improvement.

A maintenance engineer is required for on a contract position for up to 6 months, this may roll over to longer if needed.

The position requires that the engineer has an electrical bias but can also carry out other activities where business needs require.

The position is a days-based role, 07:15 - 16:00 Monday to Friday but may also require weekend work where needed as not to interrupt the production process.

The position requires the following:

BS 7671 17th Edition as a minimum.

IPAF 3a desirable.

Experience with cable containment installation.

Being able to trace circuits to the distribution board.

Removing of redundant circuits.

Familiar with first and second fix proceadures.

Installation of new and updated circuits.

Being able to be based at the Eccles branch but if needed may required to assist at the Irlam branch.

The candidate will report to the engineering manager on a daily basis and be able to work as part of a small team as well as independent work.

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
