We are now seeking to recruit a talented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our operational team based in Derry City.

On offer is a full-time, permanent contract with a highly competitive remuneration package based upon your level of relevant experience.

Role Profile

Working as a part of the internal operations team, and with internal stakeholders, you will develop an in depth understanding of high-volume capacity machines and processes to ensure the business is able to meet their day-to-day supply and service needs, whilst maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards.

You'll play a key role in ensuring high level engineering support for our manufacturing operations, keeping production running smoothly, maintain quality standards and minimise downtime through proactive maintenance and repairs.

Some travel will be required to service our partnering companies within the Republic of Ireland. Travel will be minimal, on an ad hoc basis.

Key responsibilities

Provide engineering support and repair on-site manufacturing equipment

Oversee scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failure rates

Optimize machinery and plant performance to minimize downtime and optimize OEE

Collaborate with production colleagues to maximize process efficiency

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies and reduce costs

Support installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment

Contribute to the development of engineering processes and procedures to improve performance of machinery;

Identify and report on P&M faults and provide feedback and improvement suggestions;

Assist with installation of P&M;

Attributes / Experience required:

Relevant qualification(s) in an electrical discipline Time served in a electrical maintenance engineering role Career exposure within a high-volume production setting. Ability to diagnose and solve problems Self-motivated and strong work ethic Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a challenging environment Experience in an mechanical discipline would be an advantage

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 4.00pm As the factory runs from 6am to 10pm, all maintenance personnel are on a rotating 'on call' roster.
