Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver electrical pre-construction and design activities from concept through handover
• Develop detailed electrical design packages in collaboration with consultants and subcontractors
• Take tender information from receipt to full project handover to the Contracts Team
• Provide best practice, cost-effective solutions and methodologies
• Liaise closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyse and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Identify value engineering options and mitigate risk
• Build strong client relationships to promote repeat business
• Ensure accurate, clear communication and documentation throughout pre-construction phases

The Ideal Person:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical role
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering and systems
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive and can-do attitude
• Organised, disciplined, and capable of multitasking under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident working independently and collaboratively within a busy estimating team
• Full clean driving license
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
