Electrical Project Manager

to lead and coordinate the electrical scope of complex construction projects.

Job Summary



The

Electrical Project Manager

will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from planning through execution and handover. The role demands a strategic leader who can manage timelines, budgets, and teams while ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering and proven experience managing large-scale industrial or energy construction projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities



Project Management and Planning



Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, contractors, design teams, and regulatory bodies.

Site Oversight and Coordination



Supervise on-site project delivery ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and standards. Resolve site issues and provide technical direction to site engineers and contractors. Monitor daily progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines.

Technical Oversight



Review electrical system designs, drawings, and specifications. Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and other relevant UK and EU regulations. Approve technical documentation and lead commissioning processes.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance



Enforce rigorous safety protocols in accordance with HSE standards. Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews. Address non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Financial and Contractual Management



Monitor project costs and maintain alignment with budgets. Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and billing documentation. Manage contracts, variation orders, and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications



Education and Experience



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably within industrial, energy, or WtE sectors. Proven track record managing projects in the UK with knowledge of local codes and practices.

Technical Skills



Strong command of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Proficient in AutoCAD, NAVISWORKS, or similar design platforms.

Certifications



Valid CSCS or CCNSG card (required). SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) (required).

Language and Communication



Fluent in English Fluent in Polish Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders and preparing reports.

Other Requirements



Ability to travel within the UK and to company headquarters in Poland. Valid UK or EU driving license (Category B).

Remuneration:

20.77 per hour
