Role Overview
As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all electrical aspects of the commercial build--from design through testing and handover--ensuring compliance, quality, safety, and efficient delivery across mixed-use components (office, retail, entertainment).
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, planning, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in commercial spaces
Coordinate on-site electricians, subcontractors, and trades to meet project schedules
Manage budgets, resourcing, procurement, and change control
Ensure compliance with BS?7671 and applicable British building regulations
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, snagging, and QA/QC
Liaise with clients, architects, design teams, and internal stakeholders
Maintain project documentation: schedules, reports, site records, change logs
Candidate Requirements
At least 5?years' experience managing electrical projects in commercial construction
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC-HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management
ECS card and SMSTS (or SSSTS) certification
Expert knowledge of BS?7671 and commercial electrical systems
Strong skills in budget control, scheduling, team leadership
Proficiency with project management tools and MS?Office
Full UK driving licence
