About the Role

Our specialist agency is recruiting for a high-quality residential development in Suffolk. You'll manage the full electrical project lifecycle--from design and installation to testing, commissioning, and handover. Strong technical oversight, compliance with regulations, and effective team leadership are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, planning, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems in residential units Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resourcing Coordinate electricians, subcontractors, and site trades to ensure quality delivery Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and Part P Building Regulations Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, testing, commissioning, and snagging Liaise with clients, design teams, architects, and internal stakeholders Manage procurement, material scheduling, and contractor coordination Prepare and maintain project documentation: progress reports, site records, change logs

Requirements

5+ years' experience managing electrical projects in residential construction NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), City & Guilds, HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical/Project Management Valid ECS card; SMSTS (or SSSTS) certification required Expert knowledge of BS 7671 and Part P compliance Proven capability in budget control, scheduling, and team leadership Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office Full UK driving licence
