Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 2391 Qualified Electrical Working Foreman to take on the role of NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee a team of electricians on-site, ensuring that all electrical works comply with the relevant regulations and standards. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on commercial and residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety are maintained at all times.

We are a M&E contractor based in Ossett but working thought Yorkshire and the north of England, specialising in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and residential developments. 40 hours - Monday to Friday -occasional (optional) weekends.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

2391 Qualification (Inspection and Testing) NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor status or the ability to gain it. JIB Gold Card (preferred) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential Qualified to an NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation, and AM2 is essential. Full UK Driving License. With own transport, Experience with high-end residential projects. Knowledge of building and construction codes within the Yorkshire region. Previous experience working with larger construction companies or managing large-scale projects Own tools, in good working order and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a team of electricians on site including apprentices. Ensure compliance with NIC EIC regulations and standards. Oversee electrical installations, testing, and inspections on commercial and residential projects. Perform regular site audits to ensure work is being completed to specification and on time. Provide guidance and support to electrical teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Maintain accurate records of all work completed, ensuring documentation is up to date. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed on site. Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
