We invite you to bring your expertise, enthusiasm and knowledge of the UK and International Healthcare sector and to become an integral member of our growing Hospital Spearhead team.

In your role you will contribute to the delivery of sustainable, zero carbon, innovative and high- quality advisory services and design solutions for electrical building engineering services systems. To succeed in this role, you must be confident facing clients and have excellent working knowledge for the delivery of Hospital/Healthcare projects as well as their electrical building services installations. Candidates should have achieved or have qualifications which will lead to MCIBSE or MIHEEM or MIET accreditation; candidates should also have and a thorough understanding of digital design tools appropriate to the role, including delivery through Revit/BIM 360.

You will join our Hospitals Spearhead Team

Our Hospitals Spearhead team has a deep focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of client care. You will be an important part of a close-knit team working on a wide variety of project work at national level. There is also the opportunity to work on international signature projects. For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to progress rapidly, taking on team management responsibilities and supporting business growth in the Spearhead through key account management and business development activities. Appropriate to the seniority of the role applied for, your will deliver advisory and design solutions to the healthcare sector, focussing mainly on regional and national opportunities but also on international ones. We have an exciting range of ongoing projects including Hillerod Hospital Denmark, Cambridge Children\'s Hospital, Park House AMHU Manchester & Kettering General Hospital.

Appropriate to the role applied for, your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Work under limited supervision on larger projects as part of a larger team
  • Work on your own smaller scale projects
  • Manage your own time to ensure time spent on projects suits deadlines
  • Complete detailed designs to the required standards and supervise the work of graduate engineers and apprentices
  • Complete design calculations utilising industry standard software such as Amtech ProDesign, Dialux, Relux, etc.
  • Actively engage with existing and potential clients through social media to promote Ramboll and our initiatives

  • Maintain excellent levels of client service
  • Update and broaden your technical and digital design skills to allow Ramboll to continue to be at the forefront of digital design

  • You have a keen interest / experience in the Healthcare sectorTo have a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education
  • To have achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
  • Be forward thinking and passionate about digital design innovation and \'smart design\' in an increasingly digitalized construction arena
  • To be experienced and proficient at working in a BIM environment and using digital design tools and techniques
