Job title- Electrical Servicing Engineer (EICR)




Location - Birmingham (Field Based)




Salary - 39,626.16pa




Hours - 39 per week





We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Servicing Engineer to join our dedicated DLO Electrical Team. This field-based role is essential in ensuring the safety, compliance and quality of our housing portfolio through electrical inspections, servicing and remedial works.


As an Electrical Servicing Engineer, you will:


Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with current regulations and best practice. Complete EICR inspections and accurately record findings using the required documentation. Carry out servicing in support of ventilation programmes. Undertake a variety of planned, void and responsive electrical maintenance tasks to maintain properties to a high standard. Retrofit domestic alarm systems (LD1, LD2 and LD3) including smoke, CO and heat detectors. Work in accordance with all relevant health and safety legislation, procedures and policies. Deliver work to a high standard, unsupervised, in both occupied and unoccupied properties. Complete reports, order materials and maintain appropriate stock levels. Provide excellent customer service, working in a professional, courteous manner at all times. Take part in the out-of-hours emergency rota and attend call-outs as required. Perform additional reasonable duties as required across GreenSquareAccord sites.

About you



Qualifications required




Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation/Electrotechnical AM2 City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection GCSE-level literacy and numeracy (or equivalent ability)

Experience




Proven ability to complete EICRs and deliver high-quality electrical maintenance, repairs and upgrades. Experience of domestic electrical systems, including refurbishment and maintenance. Ability to retrofit LD1-LD3 alarm systems. Ability to read technical drawings/specifications and requisition materials. Competence in the safe use of mechanical and non-mechanical tools and equipment.
