Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Civil 3D. The Site Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating teams, managing resources, and delivering projects on time.

This is working on a new hotel project due to start in January and last for 18 months.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met. Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 to track progress and identify potential delays. Utilise Civil 3D for site design and planning to ensure effective execution of construction activities. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to specifications. Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise productivity. Prepare progress reports for stakeholders detailing project status, challenges, and solutions. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 is essential. Familiarity with Civil 3D for site design is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders. A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction sector. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field would be advantageous.
