Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, enabling them to oversee projects and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality electrical installations and repairs, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical teams to ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct inspections of electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting electrical issues, utilising both power tools and hand tools effectively. Develop work schedules and assign tasks to team members based on project requirements. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger projects. Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in electrical work, safety protocols, and equipment handling.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in the electrical industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniques. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are advantageous.

The basis of remuneration package are as follows:

21.50 per hour based on a 40-hour working week site hours 44,720 per annum Overtime in the UK is paid at the normal rate for the first two hours, then at 1.25 times thereafter Monday to Friday. Overtime will be paid at 1.25 times your normal rate on Saturday and 1.5 times your normal rate on Sunday. If you are asked to work in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or Mainland Europe, your site time rate of pay will be a flat rate of 1.25 times your normal rate of pay (regardless of the day) for all hours worked.
