Job Title: Electrical Technical Engineer - Double Day Shifts

Hours: Double Shift Pattern (05:30-14:00 and 13:30-22:00), Monday to Friday
Salary: 47,000 per year plus weekly production bonus and overtime opportunities
About the Role
An experienced Electrical Technical Engineer is required to join a busy industrial production environment. This role offers the opportunity to take technical leadership responsibility within the electrical maintenance function, ensuring high standards of reliability, safety, and performance across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of electrical engineers during shift operations
Act as the technical lead during electrical breakdowns, providing advanced diagnostics and resolution
Oversee and coordinate the team's workload to ensure timely maintenance and repair of faults
Drive best practices in electrical safety, compliance, and preventative maintenance
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and records for electrical systems, projects, and interventions
Candidate Requirements
Strong electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an electrical engineering position
Proven ability to lead teams and act as a technical authority
Solid knowledge of:
Electrical fault finding (I/O, control panels, sensors)
3-phase and single-phase AC/DC systems
PLC-based systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi desirable)
Quality control vision systems
Industrial automation and safety protocols
Completion of a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proactive, organised, and dependable approach to both leadership and engineering tasks
