Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, adhering to safety measures and our company's requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out installation, testing and maintenance activities to electrical systems. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools. Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system designs and enhance operational efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams and schematics. Maintain accurate records of electrical activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in various environments.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Electrical Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and maintenance. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively. A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a electrical environment is desirable. Computer proficiency skills are desired but not essential.
