We're seeking a motivated Electrical Trainee to join our growing Solar Operations & Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your electrical skills while working on some of the UK's most exciting renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out operations and maintenance (O&M) activities on solar PV systems ranging from 50 kW to 50 MW.
Assist with fault finding, diagnostics, and performance monitoring on electrical systems.
Support repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers.
Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, issues, and completed work.
Collaborate with the wider Alt Energi technical team to deliver high-quality service to clients.
Requirements
? Location: Must live in the Worcestershire area or within a reasonable commute.
? Experience: Some prior experience or exposure to electrical work, ideally in a technical or renewable setting.
? Qualifications: Working towards or recently completed City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
? Desirable Skills:Interest or experience in solar PV systems, renewable energy, or electrical maintenance.
Understanding of basic electrical principles and safety procedures.? Personal Attributes:

Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a small, focused team.
