Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Electrician who is looking to train as a Trainer or an experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team part time.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Electrical and a passion for teaching others. This role involves delivering subjects equivlannt to level 2 to level 3, conducting sessions, and ensuring that participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and industry requirements. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels of experience. Assess and evaluate candidates progress through assignments, practical assessments, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their goals. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the curriculum remains relevant. Meet the company customer service expectations and journey

Requirements:

Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent). Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1). A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry standards. Team player who collaborates well and supports the business's goals and desires.
