Electrical Training Instructor
to join our growing Training Division. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality courses, develop new training materials, and work with industry-leading standards in a customer-facing role.
What's a Day in the Life of an Electrical Training Instructor Like?
As part of our dynamic Training Team, you will:
Deliver structured electrical training courses using PowerPoint and hands-on demonstrations.
Teach delegates about electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and the latest standards.
Answer technical questions and provide practical guidance during and after sessions.
Design, write, and update training materials as standards evolve.
Travel to customer sites to deliver training (includes occasional overnight stays).
What We're Looking For:
Technical expertise:
Strong knowledge of BS7671:2018 + Amd2:2022 and IEC EN 60204-1.
Qualifications:
Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or C&G 2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent).
Additional certifications:
C&G 2391 and C&G 2377 desirable.
Industry experience:
Practical background in electrical installation, testing, and inspection.
Communication skills:
Confident presenter with excellent verbal skills.
Adaptability:
Able to manage workloads and deliver training to diverse audiences.
Bonus skills:
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and VSDs is advantageous but not essential.
