Salary: 50K per annum, depending on skills and experience

Clifford College is an independent training provider with 130 electrical apprentices over three locations. Training Electrical apprentices for Barlows Uk Ltd. This position involves working within a small team delivering the highest quality training primarily in Chadderton, but at times may be required to travel to Cheshire and High Wycombe.
Job Purpose
Responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning in all aspects of electrical related theoretical and practical syllabus for City and Guilds at level 3.
In addition to the teaching role, to co-ordinate all three centres in relation to teaching standards, quality, staffing, management of the college and liaising with City and guilds regarding external quality assurance visits.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, prepare and deliver material to support the required course
Teach both theoretical and practical subjects at level 3 in line with awarding body requirements
Assess and approve timely apprentices course work as required by the relevant awarding body
Maintain accurate records on attendance, punctuality and progress, preparing regular reports and liaising with Employers regarding course progress, disciplinary and pastoral issues.
Contribute to electrical standardisation and team meetings
Responsible for the welfare and safeguarding of apprentices at all times.
Co-operate with internal and external inspection bodies.
Essential Requirements
Electrical level 3 technical qualification or equivalent
Teaching experience of an Electrical installations' syllabus
Hold a recognised teaching qualification
Good Presentation skills
Good IT Skills
