1. ROLE STATEMENT

You will be installing a wide range of Industrial Electrical Equipment along with associated wiring systems relating to onshore oilfield equipment. These works can vary from large multi-million-pound projects right down to simple motor starter fit outs. This is a challenging and varied role that offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity for career development and training within an expanding and successful business.

2. MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES

Installation of containment and cabling
Termination of different cabling at control panels and distribution boards
Servicing and maintenance of electrical systems
Carry out final testing of control systems
Carry out electrician duties as required on EnerQuip sites
Occasional travel to site
Ensure that the Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems are followed and any problems, perceived or real, are reported
Carry out any other duties as required by management

3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Must have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship
Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing and maintaining up to 415V
18th Edition and Inspection and Testing is not essential but preferable
Good problem-solving skills
Self-motivation and ability to meet deadlines
Positive personality with a 'can-do' attitude
knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
Driving Licence
Ability to work in a safe and effective environment with minimum supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 19.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
