Electrician Wanted - Full-Time Work in Aberdeen

AKA Innovations is a reputable electrical contractor with experience in both commercial and residential projects. We are currently looking for a qualified

Electrician

to join our friendly, growing team on a long-term basis.

What we offer:

18-25 per hour (depending on experience)

Minimum 39 hours per week, with weekend work available

Ongoing housing and commercial projects

Opportunity to work independently or as part of a team

Self-employed basis

Consistent, long-term work

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in electrical installation (residential and/or commercial)

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship

Good communication and teamwork skills

Own tools and transport preferred

Main duties:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fittings, and equipment

Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and cable schedules

Carry out testing, inspections, and fault finding (EIC, EICR)

Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and health & safety regulations

Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately

Communicate with site management regarding progress and any issues

Requirements:

ECS or CSCS card (preferred but not essential)

Solid experience in electrical work, including testing

18th Edition (City & Guilds BS 7671) - highly advantageous

Own hand tools

Full UK driving licence - an advantage
