OVO Solar & Heating South Wales

is seeking a fully qualified, motivated

Electrician

to join our growing renewables team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about clean energy and ready to take the lead on

solar PV and battery storage installations

.

We work primarily on domestic systems, with some light commercial projects. You'll play a key role in delivering quality, compliant installations and help drive our continued growth in the low-carbon sector.

Your Role Will Include:

Full electrical installation of

solar PV systems

, including DC/AC wiring and protection Installation and commissioning of

battery storage systems

Working with inverter systems (e.g. Solis, SolarEdge, Growatt, GivEnergy, etc.) Carrying out testing, commissioning, and completing handover documentation Fault finding, remedial works, and maintenance on existing systems Supporting the wider renewables and heating team when needed

What We're Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

C&G 2391

or 2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection) preferred

Experience in solar PV and battery storage installation

(domestic or commercial) Full UK driving licence (essential) Strong attention to detail and pride in neat, compliant work Good communication and ability to work independently and within a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.85-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
