Job Description

Cochran Ltd are seeking an Electrician to work within Production. This will involve the wiring of industrial steam & hot water boilers, burners, gas trains, other associated components/products and combustion control systems, to high quality standards and with tight time constraints.

This position is full-time, based in Newbie and reports to the Electrical Supervisor.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Wiring of industrial steam & hot water boilers. Wiring of burners & combustion control systems. Simulating testing and fault finding on the above elements. Conduct general electrical maintenance and repair on manufacturing machinery and equipment as required.

Skills and Qualities Desirable from Post Holder

Completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship. ONC/HNC qualification in a relevant electrical engineering discipline. 18th Edition Electrical Installation Qualification Knowledge of PLC type control systems would be an advantage. Previous experience in boiler and combustion control systems Ability to work on own initiative. Must be conversant with schematic wiring drawings generated from AutoCAD.

Pay: 18.71 per hour
