Greenhithe Electrical Services Ltd is a well-established and growing electrical contractor, delivering quality work across Kent, Essex & London. We are an NIC EIC approved contractor & BAFE registered, as well as SSIP, Construction Line and CHAS accredited, working on projects including new builds, rewires, social housing, commercial works, testing, EV charging and more.

We have confirmed works running until the end of 2026 across Kent, Essex, and London within the M25. We are now looking for reliable subcontractor electricians to join our team on long-term projects.

Job description

We are seeking

self-employed subcontractor electricians

to work on a

new build site in Barking (IG11)

. Work will include

first fix and second fix installations

. This is continuous work up until the end of 2026, with the opportunity for further work thereafter.

As a subby with GES Ltd, you will be working alongside our electricians and improvers delivering electrical installations to the highest standard.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (30 min break)

Payment terms

Fortnightly (every 2 weeks)

Requirements

Valid

ECS Gold Card

UTR number

(for CIS payments)

Public Liability Insurance

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified electrician Competent in all aspects of electrical installation (residential & commercial) Experience working within residential properties (rewires, consumer units, fault finding, testing, etc.) Up-to-date knowledge of BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) Own tools & transport Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
