Job Description
MDB Engineering Ltd are a long standing and highly accredited Barnsley based Electrical Contracting Company working across the North of England, and occasionally beyond. We are looking for a qualified site electrician with both industrial and commercial experience.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a
time-served, apprentice-trained Electrician
with at least 5 years post qualifying commercial and industrial experience.- Have experience with
installing various cabling, containment systems and lighting
in both commercial and industrial environments.- Have a strong understanding of
electrical testing, repair and maintenance
.- Possess excellent
problem-solving
andcritical thinking skills
.- Have a
positive and proactive approach
to their work.- Be capable of
working independently
and as part of a team.- Have
a responsible attitude to health and safety
.You will hold the following qualifications:
- Electrically qualified to level 3 by City & Guilds or a certified apprenticeship
- CSCS (ECS) Gold Card
- BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- UK Driving License
It is preferred (but not essential) you have:
- IPAF License
- PASMA Ticket
Hour of Works: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm, out of hours/overtime work available as required
