Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated electrician to join our team on a

full-time basis

, available on either a

PAYE employment

or

self-employed CIS

arrangement. The role will primarily involve the

installation of electric vehicle (EV) charge points

, but you will also work on

solar PV installations

and

general electrical works

such as repairs, upgrades, and testing. You'll be dealing directly with customers on-site, so a professional and friendly attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission EV charge points in accordance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Carry out installation and maintenance of solar PV systems. Perform general electrical repairs, upgrades, and maintenance work as required. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a polite, respectful, and tidy approach at all times. Complete necessary documentation and certification accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). Current BS7671 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations certification. 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is

beneficial but not essential

. Experience with EV charge point or solar installations is preferred, but training can be provided. Full UK driving licence. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

Access to a van would be beneficial, but not essential, as transport arrangements can be discussed. A clean, tidy, and respectful working manner is

essential

-- both towards customers and their property.
