Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, then perform necessary repairs or replacements. Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to execute projects accurately. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installation and repair tasks. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults. Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently within deadlines. Electrical work within in both Domestic and Commerical areas.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Demonstrable electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Familiarity with current electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations is essential. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable. 40 hours paid at standard rate, over time paid at time and half over 40 hours.

Pay: 17.50-20.00 per hour
