Duties

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify faults efficiently. Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and ensure optimal operation of electrical equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards. Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
