Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in the South area, residing ideally within the Oxford, Swindon or Reading areas. This role is vital in ensuring the installation and maintenance of electrical systems that support our mobility solutions, contributing to our mission of fostering independence for our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.*
Travel to customer properties*
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out electrical work.*
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.*
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.*
Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical regulations.*
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.*
Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work.*
Prior experience in home adaptation or mobility sector is a plus.*

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Bathroom zone awareness

and correct selection of IP-rated fittings and protective measures for wet environments.*

RCD selection and testing

, isolation procedures, and safe working practices in damp/wet areas.*

Ability to read manufacturer guidelines

.*

Familiarity with building regulations

to ensure everything is compliant.*

Installing electrical products

as per surveyors specifications.*

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3

or equivalent in Electrical Installation.*

BS 7671 (18th Edition) qualified

with current wiring regulations knowledge and up-to-date amendments relevant to bathroom installations.*

Competent Person Scheme registration

(e.g., NICEIC, NAPIT) or willingness to work under a registered contractor for self-certification where required*.

DBS check

for working in customers homes*

Public Liability Insurance (5million)

Valid UK Driving License

Right to work in the UK

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 40,000.00 per year
